Those who live in an apartment probably do not have a large dining room. In many cases, the dining room is simply a breakfast nook that will allow for a small table and a couple of chairs. The same can be said for some of the smaller condominiums. There simply is not enough room for proper dining, so people need to make compromises when it comes to decorating. Many people are now downsizing their lives due to the economy. It is hard to make ends meet and one area that is being reduced is the home. Children can be messy and this is a good way to keep the carpets clean. This can be especially true if you have very little children who are in a high chair or booster seat.
Apartment complexes will typically hold part of your deposit if the carpets are not clean when you move you. Having a round area rug will help to keep your children’s food off of the carpet. You can then spot clean the area rug instead of having to clean the carpeting.
If you are single, the breakfast nook or small dining room can be made to look inviting with a round rug to accent the décor of the dining room. A round oriental rug will give a classic look for a more traditional yet smaller dining area. Smaller does not have to mean that it has to look tacky or out of fashion.
